Fall 2018 is all about texture.
Corduroy is everywhere this season and wide wale is what you need. I Remember the thick cords my mom got me for Christmas in the 90s that I hated so much, I would give everything to have it back now. The thicker and the plushier, the better. Designers are doing cords suiting, cords pants/jeans, cords jackets, cords caps and cords bags
Many hues of brown are shown on the runway this season. Milk chocolate brown, cocoa brown, beaver brown, chestnut brown and dozens of other browns. Mixed with ivory, navy, green or other deep jewel tones, brown is definitely the new black, for fall 2018.
We’ve seen lots of check patterns for Fall 2018 and we’re even mixing them with others patterns or wear them “total-look” as a suit for example. Tartan, Glen plaids or houndstooth are few of the classic patterns you will want to wear this fall. Just keep in mind that the more texture, the better.
Jacquard is a must and texture is definitely the key word this season. Zigzags, logos, fair Isle, animal prints, flowers and more, are shown on sweaters, cardigans, ties, hats, bags, shoes and other accessories.
You can leave your belt-bag in the closet this season, the newer shape for men is the camera bag. This medium sized bag is very convenient and slightly bigger than the banana bag. It will fit you wallet, keys, phone, tablet and maybe a small sweater if you’re good at folding stuff.
